GALS STARTING OVER - Building a Community of Training and Support

WHAT'S NEW
We will begin our Winter workshop series at the New Star Family Justice Center in Hawthorne on March 3 and our Spring workshop series at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Redondo Beach on March 29.  See details below.  The workshops feature self assessment and career exploration, preparing a career game plan, updating resumes, interview preparation, networking skills, and preparing an action plan.  Participants will be assigned a personal job coach for one-on-one support and will meet weekly during the program.

We are looking for volunteer coaches and for participants seeking assistance.

THIS IS THE FEEDBACK WE HAVE RECEIVED:
  • Revised resumes got results;
  • Participants got more interviews and job offers;
  • Participants enjoyed increased self-confidence with improved job search skills;
  • Participants found increased success in obtaining employment.
